New Playground Equipment
The City of Omak is excited to update our parks with new Playground Equipment. The goal was to replace older worn out equipment while adding more locations so more youth of Omak could easily get to and enjoy the beautiful parks in the city. We will be installing two new Playground sets in Eastside Park and adding a new set to Kiwanis park on Koala Ave and Pan Vista Dr. The new playgrounds are constructed with tough 3.5" Diameter 12 Guage Galvanized Steel posts that are Powder Coated to last. Decks are Aluminum constructed for safety and durability.
Eastside Park Pool Location
Monkey In The Middle commercial playground will bring smiles, laughs, and memories to the children at your neighborhood park for years to come. The fun begins with the Figure Climber, ADA Transfer Station, and Vertical Climber and continues on the Elevated Decks. These two decks are connected by a Crawl Tunnel, allowing them to explore all parts of the playground easily. A Pyramid Roof covers one of the decks and features a Single Straight Slide, while a Single Right Turn Slide branches off the other deck. A Racing Game Panel and Ship's Wheel provide additional games at the ground level.
Timeline
This playground will be located in the same location of the old Playground near the pool. The instalation will start the week of March 8th.
Kiwanis Park location
I spy commercial playground is made for smaller ares that want to bring fun, smiles, and laughs to children.
Timeline
Pre leveling of the area will begin the week of May 13th. The construction will begin after the groundwork is ready.
Eastside Park Location Tennis Courts
Chimp Champ playground is a great mid-size commercial play structure that will bring lots of excitement and fun to any neighborhood park. It features a Double Slide, a Right Turn Slide, and a Straight Slide for maximum fun. In addition, there is an Inverted Arch Climber, Vertical Challenge Ladder, Figure Climber, and an ADA Transfer Station that kids will love. They will also love the Tic-Tac-Toe Panel and Bongo for stimulating and interactive play with others.
Timeline
This playground will be located North of the New Skate park next to the Tennis Courts. Pre leveling of the ground will start in Early July.
