We have the luxury of large-scale stores, historic downtown shopping, medical facilities, outdoor activities, a strong education system and our signature event, the Omak Stampede. All four seasons are alive and thriving in our region. Home is where the heart is and Omak is the heart of the Okanogan. Come and visit us!

2018 Water Quality Report
City of Omak
We're pleased to provide you with this year's Annual Water Quality Report. We want to keep you informed about the monitoring, and quality of your water. Our goal is and always has been, to provide to you a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. Eastside, Northeast, Okoma, and OWP Wells are supplying the City's drinking water. You can also pick up a hard copy of the report at Omak City Hall, 2 N Ash Street.
The goal for the City of Omak is to reduce water use by 1% within the next six years. Our goal is to educate customers about water conservation. Together we can accomplish this goal.
Some tips for Conservation
- Find and fix any leaky faucets - Install efficient faucets
- Take shorter showers-Replace showerheads with lower flow rate
- Check toilets to verify they are working properly
- Sweep outdoor surfaces with a broom instead of using a hose
- Don't run the hose while washing your car
RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR
THE CARL PRECHT MEMORIAL RV PARK
In May of last year, we launched our online reservation system. This system is very user friendly. Payments for your stay must be made online using your debit or credit card. The City of Omak has a maximum five (5) day stay. More information about our park can be found on the RV Park page
The City of Omak is working in conjunction with other agencies to offer a Free Spring Clean Up to our residents. We will be sharing more information when it becomes available. We are working toward a target of late April or in May.
Our community is such a special place to live and do
business. Part of the reason for that is the work done behind the scenes by
people who are willing to step up and serve on one of the many committees,
commissions or boards that shape this community.
The time commitment is generally very minimal. You may not
have to live in the city to participate.
I am asking for people with some extra time, with training
or expertise and a sincere desire to be of service to our community to come
forward and volunteer.
The Boards, Commissions and committees we have are:
The Park Board
Civil Service Commission
Building Code Appeal Board
Stop by City Hall and find out about the specifics of any of
the positions that you are interested in.
You can find out the current meeting schedule and attend a
meeting prior to making any application or commitment.
Thank you for your consideration!
